In 2014, an idea was born. We would create a show that was an homage to the old Chicago magic bars. We began one night a week, which escalated to two nights a week, and then that escalated into forming a new business model and looking for a new home. We found a building on a double lot at 5048 N. Clark, formerly a commercial laundromat named Tender Care Systems. We signed a 10-year lease, changed the address to 5050 N. Clark, and looked for partners to create a fully conceived home for magic on a scale never before seen in the city. What we have done over the last year has resulted in a magic theater, the likes of which have never been seen.

By digging into the past, we have discovered the future of magic.

We engaged in a Groundbreaking ceremony on 6/7/17, which was honored by Cook County Commissioners as being recognized as "Magic Day" in Cook County. That date will be honored moving forward. Below are the photos from the first annual "Magic Day" Groundbreaking Ceremony.
