Enter through the laundry

In 2014, an idea was born. We would create a show that was an homage to the old Chicago magic bars. We began one night a week, which escalated to two nights a week, and then that escalated into forming a new business model and looking for a new home. We found a building on a double lot at 5048 N. Clark, formerly a commercial laundromat named Tender Care Systems. We signed a 10-year lease, changed the address to 5050 N. Clark, and looked for partners to create a fully conceived home for magic on a scale never before seen in the city.

By digging into the past,

we have discovered

the future of magic.

On June 7, 2017, we held a groundbreaking ceremony, which was recognized by the Cook County Commissioners as "Magic Day" in Cook County. This date will continue to be honored in the future. Below are photos from the first annual "Magic Day.”
