In 2014 an idea was born. We would create a show that was an homage to the old Chicago magic bars. We began one night a week, that escalated to two nights a week, and then that escalated into forming a new business model, and looking for a new home. We found a building at 5048 N. Clark, that sits on a double lot. We signed a 10 year lease, changed the address to 5050 N. Clark, and looked for partners to create a fully conceived home for magic, of a scale never before seen in the city. What we have done over the last year is resulting in a magic theater of the likes never seen in the world. This will become a cultural destination for Chicago, and we are just now at the cusp. We engaged on a Groundbreaking ceremony on 6/7/17, which was honored by Cook County Commissioners, as being recognized as "Magic Day" in Cook County, and that date moving forward will heretofore be honored. Below are the photos from the first annual "Magic Day" Groundbreaking Ceremony.
